What it is
Every event has a public dashboard: the same live grid and checklist summary the operations staff see, read-only, with the event name and date on top. It needs no account and no login, just the link.
Use it to:
- project the progress of the event on a screen in the venue or the control room;
- let a partner, a sponsor or the press follow the event;
- give a location a view of how the others are doing.
Getting the link
Staff open the event and press Share. A window shows the public dashboard URL: copy it and send it, or open it on the computer connected to the screen.
On a big screen
- Open the link in a browser and switch to full screen (usually F11).
- Leave it open: it updates by itself within seconds of every change. There is no need to reload.
- The grid is the same one described in Following the event: red edge for lagging locations, orange headers for the steps in progress, completed steps collapsed.
If the page says “This dashboard does not exist”
The link is incomplete or mistyped. Copy it again from Share.
