Questions and answers

Quick answers to the questions that come up most on the day.

Coordinators

The coordinator didn’t receive the invitation.

Check the email address in the Locations tab and ask them to look in the spam folder. Then select the row and press Resend invite.

“The coordinator is already registered.”

The coordinator has already created their account, so no invitation is needed. They log in with their username and password and find the location in My events.

A coordinator forgot their password.

Ask your administrator: accounts are managed from Administration → Users.

Can one person coordinate several locations?

Yes. Use the same email on each location: CueRing links them to the same account, and the coordinator sees them all in My events.

The coordinator is replaced on the day.

Change the email in the location row. The new coordinator receives an invitation (or gets the location right away if they already have an account). The steps already reported stay.

Steps

A step was marked as completed by mistake.

The coordinator taps Undo next to it. Only the last completed step can be undone; to go back further, undo one step at a time.

A step didn’t happen at one location.

Steps are completed strictly in order, so the location can’t skip it. Report it anyway, with a note that explains what happened. The note appears on the dashboard when you hover over the cell.

Can I change the steps once the event has started?

Yes, until the day is over: add, rename or drag steps in the Steps tab. Do it with care, because coordinators always report the first step not yet completed, so reordering steps during the event changes what comes next.

Checklists

The coordinator can’t answer the post-event checklist.

It opens only when the location has completed all its steps. Until then the dashboard shows 🔒 Steps pending for that location.

A check was answered Not OK.

The dashboard shows a red ✗ Not OK badge next to the location. Contact the coordinator; once the problem is solved, they can change the answer to OK.

Archive

I need to correct yesterday’s event.

You can’t. Past events are locked for everyone, to keep the record faithful. You can still open, search, view and export them.

Where do I find an old event?

Events → Archive, or All, and search by name.
